Pay Him. Pay That Man His Money. Celtics vs Knicks Preview!

This post was originally supposed to be about Jaylen Brown. It is no secret that just a week ago I was begging Danny Ainge not to extend Jaylen Brown. Not yet. Let the season play through and see how he does and then we can go from there, I pleaded. I have just seen too many guys in sports get big contracts and then get "fat and happy". Jaylen Brown looks neither fat nor happy. This guy is playing mean. A good mean. And so I'm all in with Danny.

I have loved Jaylen for three years.  Last year he was not good, but as I got to thinking.......he was the first guy I heard come out and openly throw Kyrie under the bus.  Jaylen let it be known that Kyrie was a turd. We all owe him a bunch of thanks for that. SO Jaylen, spend the $100+ million well. Keep playing like you did last night and we got a steal of a deal.

Now onto the real stuff.  Get out your wallet.  Tonight's game is the first one that I will encourage ALL OF YOU to bet on. The Celtics -6 is an absolute gift.

I said gift, not GIF!  But who doesn't love a little Larry Bird memory.  Here's why the Celts are gonna smoke the Knicks:

1. The Knicks played Brooklyn last night in the battle for NY.  They were super jacked up for the game.  Tonight's energy won't be the same for them.

2. I watched the end of the Knicks/Nets game after the Celts game ended.  The Knicks blow.  Hard.

3. The Celtics are just starting to build on things.  They will not take their foot off the petal.  Everyone is battling for minutes and nobody wants to let the team down.

4. Marcus Morris is on the Knicks.  Not only does he suck, but he is one of the players I hate most in the league.  Biggest fake tough guy in the league.  He's gonna try to get physical and Grant Williams is going to squash him like a grape.

This game is over before it even starts.  Go get your share of the man's money.
