Who wakes up early on a Saturday to read a Celtics blog?

Who wakes up early to read a Celtics blog on a Saturday morning?  I'm not sure actually.  All I know is that I'm waking up early to write one.

Last night's game against Toronto showed me a ton....about my blog writing abilities.  Seriously.  Yesterday's game preview blog talked about how Pascal Siakam is a monster and how Jaylen Brown needed to play strong in order for us to win.  You all saw what happened right?

Yesterday's blog also mentioned that Grant Williams would get some considerable run because he has the strength and the defensive footwork to guard Toronto's bigs.  Did I call it or what?

AT this point I just need to ask the question: Who is the best Celtics blog writer you read?  Who is putting out better content than me?  Two weeks ago I wrote a piece on Carsen Edwards being the best shooter on the Celtics.  Then the next day he goes out and nails 8 threes in a game.  So money.

My work for this Saturday morning is done.  The best Celtics blog writer you read is Jimmy in NH.  Tell your friends.

Note from Blog Owner, Tom Lane:

In case you didn't get to read Jim's pre-game analysis from YESTERDAY, take a look at some excerpts. Jimmy knows Celtics!

We all watched Pascal Siakam in the playoffs last year.  That dude took a huge leap.  He was awesome.  Athletic, fast, tall, rebounds - the type of player the Celtics will really struggle with from a matchup standpoint.  Then he comes out in game 1 vs New Orleans and puts up 34 points and 18 rebounds.  Who guards him?

It has to be Jaylen Brown.  Brad Stevens needs to ask our new 100+ million dollar man to suck it up and play D and don't let Pascal score!  No foul trouble.  Just play solid D and box out a guy who is bigger than you.  It takes hunger and effort.  Some $100+ million guys don't have what it takes to do the small stuff in a game like this.  Does Jaylen? The people who have been defending his huge contract hope so.  So do I.  Or else we might be looking at an 0-2 start.

SIDE NOTE: I'm hoping Jaylen steps up and does the job but if he does'nt, tonight we might get to see a considerable amount of playtime for Grant Williams.; Grant has the strength, focus, and sound technical footwork to make it difficult for a guy like Siakam.  Hopefully.........
