Kemba Walker - WTF was that?

I am not going to overreact. Just last week I was talking about how Kemba Walker might possibly be the MVP this year.  But I need to know.  Kemba.  WTF was with you last night?

I dont want to bring up his name, but last night Kemba reminded me a lot of Kyrie Irving.  He was blocked at the rim how many times?  Maybe 5?  He had the ball stolen from him or just plain lost it maybe 6 times?  (I just checked and he had 6 turnovers, so that's a pretty good guess on my part).  And then what about his just flat out misses?  The box score says Kemba was 4-17 last night.  And yet he JUST KEPT DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER. No conscience whatsoever.

That is the last time I want to see that out of you Kemba.  I love having you on the team.  I love your effort.  I love your defense and I love your rebounding.  And usually I love your offense.  But last night you sucked.

You need to realize that you are on a good team now.  When you get your ass swatted at the rim 3 times, how about you just get the ball to Tatum or somebody else for the rest of the game?  Beverly fed you your lunch last night.  That's ok.  The guy is a great defender.  If you can't score on him, I have no problem with that.  Just don't keep trying.  Don't do what you did last night ever again.

  1. I think he was desperate to generate some offense early, they were like 0- for a million early. After that I think he kept trying to play his game and they deed him up big time. He was not the quickest guy on the floor last night. Smart is amazing. That dive play where he hit Leonard in the foot and it deflected out of bounds.. Waoh. I also think there was home cookin in that game. But hats off to a great team in the Clippers.

    1. The Clips are a great team, and Boston is there with them (with Hayward). That diving smart play, ball off the foot, is a classic.

    2. Osborn that play by Smart that you mentioned. Seriously one of the best displays of athleticism and coordination that I have seen on a basketball court. Beautiful to watch.
